Catheter Assembly

Assembly of single-use Catheters is a primary area of expertise and significant business for us at LSO. We have assembled a variety of catheters for a diverse range of functions, from basic Foley & Angiography to Radiofrequency & Balloon Cardiology Catheters. Our staff is adept in the different techniques of Catheter Assembly, such as Tube Bonding, Tip Forming, Heat Forming, Balloon Bonding and Plasma Surface treatment.

All Catheter Assembly is performed within the confines of one of our many Cleanroom spaces (Class 100, 1000 and 10000). MDM is able to produce catheters of varying materials and design. Some of the catheters we have manufactured over the years are listed below:

Precision Assembly and Testing

At MDM, Precision Assembly includes the assembly of a wide array of various devices with varying levels of complexities. Combined with temperature and humidity controlled capability, our Class 10,000 (ISO class 7) cleanrooms can provide for the required conditions for nearly every product. We also have Class 1000 (ISO class 6) capabilities for the assembly of products requiring tighter environmental controls. MDM has the capacity to develop the process and implement in-process testing to conform to your product performance & design specifications. Testing is customized to be consistent with the demands of your device.
