About Us
LIS (Life Science Outsourcing Incubator Services) is the Medical Device Incubator Services division of LSO, Inc. (Life Science Outsourcing). LSO is a premier outsourcing solution for the medical device, biomedical, pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries. Our parent company has been in the contract manufacturing space for 14 years, and in that time has worked with more than 200 start-ups, resulting in over 2 billion dollars in acquisitions for our clients. Many have also gone on to become successful stand-alone companies within the medical device industry. For years clients have used our offices, equipment, quality system and facility intermittently to develop and monitor their products. Hence with our cumulative experience in manufacturing, industry regulations and support services, it was but a natural progression to launch Life Science Outsourcing Incubator Services (LIS).
Unlike other medical device incubators, at LIS we do not ask for equity in the incubator company, making us unique in our field. There may be opportunities in the future to entertain the idea of receiving equity in return for services, but that is not where our focus lies. Companies can confidently outsource all production activities such as sourcing of vendors, clinical builds, warehousing, product manufacturing, sterilization, testing, validations and final distribution of devices to us. Our 57,518 sq. ft fully functional facility located in Brea, CA houses our incubator offices, cleanrooms (class 100, 1000, 10000), warehouse, administrative offices and all six divisions of LSO. Our clients appreciate the cost and resource savings, flexibility and superior quality advantages gained by having all services in one central location.
